From November 17 to 23, $1 from every Holiday Smile Cookie sold at the Stayner, Sunnidale, and Cashtown Corners Tim Hortons restaurants was donated to the Clearview Youth Centre, with an additional $1 donated to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. In total, $14,716 was raised during Holiday Smile Cookie Week, with $7,358 going to the Clearview Youth Centre and $7,358 supporting Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
Mayor Doug Measures and Clearview Council expressed their deep appreciation for the overwhelming community support. “Thank you to Tim Hortons, and a big thank you to our community for supporting our Clearview Youth Centre. The generosity of this community will help build a space where youth can explore their potential and create lasting positive change.”
The funds raised will support the Centre’s mission to keep young minds active and engaged as plans progress for the opening of a brand-new Youth Centre in 2026. This contribution will help bridge the gap between the Centre’s current programming and the expanded offerings planned for the new facility.
The future Youth Centre will build on the current vision by offering enhanced spaces for recreation, leadership, technology, arts, and mentorship—creating a vibrant hub where young people feel safe, supported, and inspired.
Youth Centre Coordinator Courtney Rogers shared heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of community support. “We are so thankful to everyone who volunteered, baked, purchased, and supported to make Smile Cookie Week such a memorable and successful event. It was more than a fundraiser; it was a celebration of community, generosity, and heart. There was something truly magical about seeing so many people come together with a shared purpose.”
